What We Did
The Singular Genomics G4 takes DNA sequencing further to bring you fast, powerful and flexible tools for research and precision medicine. The G4 system helps to empower scientists to answer their most pressing questions, allowing them to forge a path of discovery without limits. The G4 was designed to fit into any existing lab ecosystem. From compatibility with a wide range of sample preparation workflows through seamless integration into bioinformatic pipelines, the G4 is a plug-and-play solution.
Psycho-Aesthetics™
Product design is more than just winning awards; it’s about creating emotional connections between the product and the user. Our human-centered approach, Psycho-Aesthetics, helps us understand and quantify these connections. We aim to create solutions that are relevant and impactful, using our approach to grow our clients’ businesses. We found the opportunity zone for the G4 to be in the artistic quadrant of the P/A Map. Here, we wanted to offer users enhanced aesthetics, providing users with an empowering experience. We emphasized intuitive operation and out-of-sight-out-of-mind, a device that seamlessly integrates into any lab environment.
With a commitment to pushing boundaries, RKS designed the G4 to be a fast, powerful, and flexible tool, enabling scientists to unlock new realms of knowledge and make groundbreaking discoveries. Through meticulous industrial design, RKS crafted the G4 with a sleek and intuitive interface, providing scientists with a seamless user experience. The system’s status illumination, sample cartridge, SBS cartridge, and 4x low Cell Array are intelligently engineered to deliver exceptional performance and accuracy.
