The Zyliss Long-Handled Tools are a family of long-handled kitchen tools consisting of a Flexible Turner, an Angled Turner, a Slotted Turner, a Ladle, a Spoon, and a Straining Spoon. The handles on the six tools was designed to be a common, overmolded part to reduce tooling costs. All elements of the handle size, shape, and angles were meticulously studied, including extensive user-testing for different-sized hands. The result is an engaging “grab me” appeal that encourages the user to pick each tool up, while intuitively guiding them to a ready-to-use position with their thumb on the pad at the base of the handle for maximum control. The final result of our design team’s effort is a line of Long-Handled Tools that enhances the user experience and elevates the perceived value of the Zyliss brand.
