With story telling as our driving force, it's fitting that RKS is known for the toy industry's first computer-animated, talking stuffed animal, Teddy Ruxpin. Created for World's of Wonder Toys, the story-telling bear became a "must have" product, and is remembered as the most rapidly successful toy of all time.
As with all RKS designs, Teddy was created with a deep understanding of the user. His enchanting charm was carefully crafted to engage and delight as he led children on adventures of learning, fun, and friendship. In 2003, the Toy Industry Association hailed Teddy Ruxpin as a toy that "shaped our lives in the past 100 years due intuitive design and outstanding play value."
