What We Did
RKS worked with Hamilton to define the Microlab Prep system to identify opportunities to integrate this technology into a small footprint for small to medium-sized laboratories. This new innovative solution enables users to make their workflows faster and more precise by bringing automation to a manually intensive workflow. Microlab Prep provided the category with a compact automated liquid pipetting solution, providing a lab of any size the ability to increase efficiency for users of any skill level to run protocols.

Throughout the design and development of the Microlab Prep, we followed a strategic approach to create a user-centric experience. Our multidisciplinary team combined expertise in industrial design, user experience, and workflow solutions to ensure the device’s seamless integration into laboratory environments.
