RKS welcomed a specialized group of global leaders from the SDA Bocconi School of Management in Italy this past week. These leaders were in Los Angeles to take part of the UCLA Anderson School of Management’s International Exchange program. These world class figures were representing 17 different countries, all wanting insight to the specific approach RKS has for each design and innovation. RKS takes great pride in hosting as many groups and individuals as possible in the intriguing world of design.

The basis of the conference was about RKS’ Psycho-Aesthetics, which is endorsed by Harvard University, that has been implemented and taught by RKS for years and is accredited with providing design inspiration and criteria that has created hundreds of commercial successes. Psycho-Aesthetics leverages the great thinkings of Abraham Maslow and Joseph Campbell into journeys toward aspirational experiences that people seek in their own everyday journeys.

Our Innovation Officer, Scott Clear, led the group to divulge the approach and process of each project that is incubated at RKS. When discussing the distinguished group, Scott said, “Milano, Italy’s SDA Bocconi is a rich community network of todays world leaders, and it’s an honor to teach them Psycho-Aesthetics (P/A) to contribute to their desire to the development of individuals and organizations as well as disseminating innovative managerial knowledge.”

This group of C-Level executives were from the Global Executive MBA program at SDA Bocconi, which is a modular program that provides a high-quality business education for executives who desire to expand the scope of their careers and move toward more international business initiatives. The Global EMBA is a launching pad for future career phases and an integrated preparation for senior management roles. Part of their curriculum is to spend a week taking courses in different countries.

 During their visit in Los Angeles, they took courses at UCLA Anderson. The EMBA International Exchange program is designed for professionals who have demanding jobs with high levels of responsibility. This intensive program, whose participants include doctors, engineers, scientists and financial executives, offers a learning model that emphasizes an integrated, cross-functional approach to management, proficiency in analytical problem-solving skills and development of strategic leadership skills.
