A Look Back on 2025

As we enter our 45th year of innovation, we’re taking time to reflect on the work that shaped 2025. This past year brought a wide range of challenges and opportunities, with RKS Design partnering alongside leaders across healthcare, consumer, technology, sustainability, medtech, machine learning and beyond. Here at RKS Design, we spent our year solving problems that matter.

The projects highlighted here were selected for the breadth of industries they represent and the impact they create. Each one reflects a commitment to designing with intention—grounded in real human needs and brought to life through thoughtful strategy, design, and engineering. Together, they show where our work stands today and how it continues to evolve.

PSYCHO-AESTHETICS AI

Human-Centered AI Platform

In 2025, we incubated Psycho-Aesthetics AI, a patent-pending evolution of our human-centered methodology that transforms emotional and symbolic signals into actionable intelligence. Built on 45 years of RKS research, it helps teams predict resonance, surface hidden motivations, and make clearer innovation decisions before ideas ever reach the market.

MY DABBA

Smart Food Container

Designed to support how people actually eat day to day, My Dabba brings temperature-controlled food storage into a single, intuitive product shaped in collaboration with RKS. This year, as meal preparation, portability, and waste reduction increasingly define household behavior, the project demonstrates how human-centered design can encourage healthier routines and more sustainable habits.

REVA

Premium Electronic Hookah

At a moment when lifestyle categories are moving beyond novelty, Reva emerged as a premium electronic hookah refined through a close design partnership with RKS. In 2025, rising expectations for craft, ritual, and emotional connection made the project a study in how thoughtful design can elevate everyday experiences and strengthen brand meaning.

LYNX

Signal-Boosting Battery Pack

Built alongside mJoose, LYNX addresses a growing dependence on always-on mobile devices through a MagSafe-compatible, signal-boosting battery pack designed for reliability and ease. As seamless connectivity becomes a baseline expectation, the work shows how RKS helped shape performance into an intuitive, everyday consumer experience.

ZYLISS

Food Storage Container

The Zyliss Food Storage Containers represent a longstanding collaboration rooted in thoughtful industrial design and everyday usability. This year, as consumers prioritize durability, sustainability, and clarity in the kitchen, the latest Zyliss food storage products reinforce timeless design principles that endure. The work highlights RKS’s ability to evolve trusted brands while honoring decades of shared design values.

DEMON BOX

Electromagnetic Music Interface

Born from experimentation and creative curiosity, Demon Box took shape through collaboration between Eternal Research and RKS as an analog instrument that transforms ambient electromagnetic fields into sound. This year, as artists increasingly explore unseen systems and raw signals, the project shows how design can make complexity tangible and open new paths for expression.

EDGE

Clean-Label Sports Drink

In a crowded sports drink market, Edge Hydration was shaped through branding and packaging work developed in collaboration with RKS to stand apart through clarity, wellness, and restraint. As cleaner labels and science-backed simplicity gain momentum in 2025, the brand reflects how thoughtful design can reframe performance products around trust, empowerment, and modern athletic lifestyles.

BEAT THE STREETS

Logo Redesign for Non-Profit

Five years after its original identity launch, Beat the Streets Los Angeles partnered with RKS again to refresh its logo and visual system, reinforcing continuity while evolving its voice. This year, as youth-focused nonprofits balance authenticity with donor trust, the update reflects how design can strengthen mission, community pride, and long-term impact.

HAMILTON-HF90

High-Flow-Oxygen Therapy

Developed with Hamilton Medical, the HAMILTON-HF90 advances high-flow oxygen therapy through an intuitive, mobile system designed around both caregiver workflow and patient comfort. In 2025, as healthcare continues to prioritize flexibility, usability, and data-driven care, the project reflects how thoughtful design can support better clinical decision-making and more human-centered treatment environments.

QUANTUM SI

Single Molecule Sequencer

Breakthroughs in proteomics demand tools that are as approachable as they are powerful, which shaped the development of Quantum-Si Platinum Pro. As single-molecule sequencing gains momentum in 2025, the design work highlights how thoughtful design, interface clarity, and engineering integration can help expand access to advanced biological insight across research and clinical environments.

UROGUARD

At-Home Prostate Health Monitoring

Greater control over personal health is reshaping how care is delivered, which informed RKS’s product development work on UroGuard, an at-home prostate health monitoring device. In 2025, as screening and prevention increasingly happen outside traditional settings, the design focuses on clarity, discretion, and ease to encourage trust and consistent use.
