For Five years RKS has had the privilage to collaborate with Zyliss to provide them with guidence on the look, feel and direction on revamping there brand while keeping the company’s Smart Simple Swiss global brand idenity.

Psycho-Aesthetics™
Product design is more than just winning awards; it’s about creating emotional connections between the product and the user. Our human-centered approach, Psycho-Aesthetics, helps us understand and quantify these connections. Our design firm uses it to create innovative products, technologies, services, brands, and more. We aim to create solutions that are relevant and impactful, using our approach to grow our clients’ businesses. With Psycho-Aesthetics as our foundation, we work with clients to establish a common language that can be used throughout our relationship. We found the opportunity zone for Zyliss to be in the enriched quadrant of the PA map, providing higher levels of interactivity through the development of the different product lines. Here we wanted to provide our client with products that exceed their expectations and create experiences in the kitchen that empower consumers.
With Zyliss’s extensive product portfolio, including items like garlic presses, cheese graters, salad spinners, utensils, and pizza cutters, we delved into thorough research and benchmarking to understand the market landscape and identify areas of opportunity. Our goal was not simply to compete at face value, but to elevate each product by improving functionality and addressing the needs of discerning consumers. By studying existing products and objectively analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, we were able to empathize with the users and identify ways to enhance their experience.
Our approach extended beyond design aesthetics alone. We sought to integrate more functional and beneficial elements into each product, providing added value to the consumers. We recognized that consumers may not always know what they want, so our role was to uncover their needs and deliver innovative solutions. By combining research, strategy, and a deep understanding of the market, we created kitchen gadgets that surpassed expectations, capturing the essence of Zyliss’s commitment to performance and setting a new standard in the industry.
