Product design is more than just winning awards; it’s about creating emotional connections between the product and the user. Our human-centered approach, Psycho-Aesthetics, helps us understand and quantify these connections. Our design firm uses it to create innovative products, technologies, services, brands, and more. We aim to create solutions that are relevant and impactful, using our approach to grow our clients’ businesses. With nearly 1% of the population grappling with arrhythmias and the risk escalating with age, addressing this challenge became the cornerstone of our mission.
When Synaptic Medical approached us to lead the creation of their innovative cryoablation system, the synergy was evident. Currently, only a select few major medical device companies offer similar systems, rendering it an expensive option for patients. RKS Design embarked on changing this paradigm by reducing both the cost of the device and consumables, thereby expanding access to a wider population. This commitment to affordability and accessibility underscored our dedication to improving the lives of those affected by arrhythmias.
