D&A Guitar Gear to appear on Fox Business

We are excited to share that RKS-incubated D&A Guitar Gear will appear on Sat, November 28th at 5pm eastern (2pm PST) on the nationwide Fox Business Channel. D&A Guitar Gear was covered on a segment shot earlier this year at the Jan 2020 Winter NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Convention.

D&A Guitar Gear was started by a group of top-notch, passionate designers, and professional musicians with a shared vision of developing innovative, premium products that serve the needs of the creative community. D&A Guitar Gear’s products are used extensively by musicians and recording artists across the globe and can be seen on show stages including the Academy Awards, Coachella, The Grammy’s, and the CMA Awards.

Barry Mitchell, CEO “D&A Guitar Gear is not a me-too products company. Everything that we develop, is rooted in bringing inventive, solution-based concepts to market that provide end-users with modern music-making support accessories so that musicians can focus on what matters most, which is making their music”

In the Fox Business segment Barry Mitchell, CEO of D&A Guitar Gear provides an overview of their innovative line of products including their Gig stand compact series instrument stands, Starfish Stage stands, Pro-Performance Instrument straps, Bullhead Folding Music Stands, and their Headlock and Grip series wall hangers.

Liz Plummer, Executive Producer for Trending Today said, “It was a pleasure working with D&A at the Namm show! Their innovative stands are taking the music industry by storm! I can’t wait to see what they have coming up next!”

About RKS

RKS is a design and innovation firm that creates solutions for clients that are relevant to the market, build the brand and create emotional connection. RKS services the full range of companies from funded startups to multinational corporations. Founder Ravi K. Sawhney cultivated a people-centric approach modeled from his work at Xerox PARC in the 1970’s, where innovative methods using psychology as an essential factor in design resulted in the first-generation touch screen graphic interface as well as many other breakthroughs. RKS came to national attention shortly after its founding by developing the production design of the animated Teddy Ruxpin, one of the greatest disruptive success stories in the history of the toy industry. Success followed success, with RKS being in on the ground floor of tablets with Alan Kay, Pocket Arcades with Sega and the game-changing dental whitening system for Discus Dental. Another milestone was the turnaround of MiniMed, developing a discreet personal insulin pump that allowed millions of diabetics to shed the stigma of being seen as “sick.” This inspired design took MiniMed from a declining $40M in revenue to $270M in three years, leading to its acquisition by Medtronic for $3.6B. The 1990’s brought a confluence of deep introspection and humanity, along with insights into how the work of Joseph Campbell and Abraham Maslow could inform design. This direction led to RKS Design’s highly acclaimed Psycho-Aesthetics methodology.
